The Basket Counts

 In the book Mel gets sick.  While he is sick, He gets a note saying, "We won, stay sick we do better without you."   While Mel is sick he thinks there is only one person who knows how to spell his name and that was Caskie. Mel was so mad that he asked his mom to go outside and then his mom finally said yes after debating with him. When he went outside, he saw Caskie's snowman and then ran over to the snowman and started to smash it down.  Later on they went over Pedro's house for over a hour.  They played pool for an hour and a half.  Then they headed to ice rink with their ice skates planing to go skating, but when they got there the rink was not frozen, only on the edges.
